Mission StatementOCEAN PARTNERSHIP FOR CHILDREN, INC. IS A NONPROFIT COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATION SERVING CHILDREN WITH MENTAL HEALTH, SUBSTANCE USE, AND EMOTIONAL CHALLENGES. OPC'S MOST SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES ARE TO PROVIDE CARE MANAGEMENT SERVICES, INCLUDING LINKAGES TO COUNSELING, BEHAVIORAL SUPPORTS, SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT, RESPITE, AND SUPPORT SERVICES FOR THE FAMILIES AND CAREGIVERS. OPC ALSO PARTNERS WITH A VARIETY OF COMMUNITY PROVIDERS TO ASSIST THE YOUTH AND FAMILIES TO BE SUCCESSFUL. ONE OF THE MOST SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES FOR OPC CONTINUES TO BE PROVIDING CARE MANAGEMENT SERVICES TO YOUTH WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES. THESE YOUTH WERE TRANSFERRED TO THE CARE MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION DUE TO THE STATE'S REORGANIZATION OF THE DIVISION OF DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES IN THE NJ DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES.
