Mission StatementTO PROVIDE TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER SERVICES FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN CAMPUSES EXCLUDING THE UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-MADISON AND UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-MILWAUKEE. WISYS PROVIDES PROTECTION FOR TECHNOLOGY THROUGH PATENTS OR OTHER METHODS, FOR UW SYSTEM FACULTY, STAFF, STUDENTS, AND ALUMNI DISCOVERIES AND TO NEGOTIATE LICENSE AGREEMENTS THAT ENABLE INDUSTRY TO COMMERCIALIZE INVENTIONS FROM ELEVEN UW SYSTEM REGIONAL COMPREHENSIVE FOUR-YEAR UNIVERSITIES, UW-COLLEGES AND UW EXTENSION.
