Mission StatementConcepts of Independence - Managed Care {COI-MC) provides consumer directed personal assistance services to more than 3,000 consumers under the Medicaid Managed Care Health Benefit Plan throughout the State of New York. In addition, COI-MC provides payroll and program administration services to these consumers who employ personal assistants. As of June 30, 2017, Concepts provided wage and benefit processing to more than 4,000 personal assistants. Concepts acts as a fiscal intermediary to facilitate the program administration processes such as collecting paperwork, payroll,benefits and supporting consumers to navigate directing their care
