Mission StatementTHE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES, SPECIFICALLY TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO NEEDY RESIDENTS OF THE LOWER 9TH WARD OF NEW ORLEANS IN THEIR EFFORTS TO RECOVER FROM THE EFFECTS OF HURRICANE KATRINA; TO REDEVELOP THE LOWER 9TH WARD BY IMPLEMENTING PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS IN SUCH AREAS AS HOUSING, EMPLOYMENT AND EDUCATION FOR THE ASSISTANCE OF RESIDENTS IN NEED; AND TO CONDUCT COORDINATE, AND ENGAGE IN COMMUNITY OUTREACH.
